Import a product activation kit

To install our permanent license key, we might need to download and import a product activation kit from the product media or product download location. If we purchased a product or a product activation kit, insert the disk or download the activation kit to an accessible workstation. The activation kit is stored in a *.jar file. For detailed information see the installation information for the product.

To import an activation kit from your workstation and enable the new license key:

1. In Installation Manager, click...
   Manage Licenses > package > Import product Activation Kit

   If the option is not activated, our product does not support product activation kits. Check documentation for our product for license information.

2. Click Next. The license type for the selected package is shown.

3. Browse to the path of the download location for the kit on your workstation; then select the *.jar file for the package and click Open.

4. Click Next.

5. Click Finish.

Results

The product activation kit with its permanent license key is imported to the product.
