Installing an Eclipse-based IDE

The following software is required for an Eclipse-based IDE. Download the software from the relevant third-party websites, and install the software by following the instructions that are provided on the website.

Eclipse IDE

An IDE that you can use to develop an application. If you are unsure about which Eclipse package to download, you can download and install the Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers.

Tomcat

A servlet container that you can use to run the client web application.

Sysdeo Eclipse Tomcat Launcher

An open source Eclipse plug-in that integrates with a Tomcat installation to start Tomcat from within Eclipse.

Java SE and Java EE are also needed. You can use the Java SE and Java EE that were installed as prerequisites for the Curam software for the Eclipse IDE.
