Configure the module for outbound processing

To configure a module to use the adapter for outbound processing, use the external service wizard in IBM Integration Designer to find and select business objects and services from the Siebel application, and to generate the business object definitions and related artifacts.

  1. Selecting business objects
Select business objects through the external service wizard, that you want to process.
  2. Selecting business services
Select business services through the external service wizard, to specify the business functions that you want to call .
  3. Configure the selected objects
To configure the business object, you specify information about the object, such as name for the business object and the directory in which it has to be stored.
  4. Setting deployment properties and generating the service
After you select and configure business objects for your module, you can use the external service wizard to configure properties that the adapter uses to connect to Siebel Business Applications. Then, the wizard creates a business integration module where all the artifacts and property values are saved.
