Error displayed when using external service discovery wizard

Problem

An error message is displayed when you use the external service discovery wizard in the following scenario:

1. Add a JDBC driver file in the Locate the Required Files and Libraries page.

2. Click Next and move to the Specify the Discovery Properties panel.

3. Click Back and go to the Locate the Required Files and Libraries page, and add another JDBC driver file.

4. Click Next and move to the Specify the Discovery Properties panel.

IBM WebSphere Adapter for JDBC returns the following error: 'Failure in connection to EIS. Failed to load the driver: com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver. Check that the JDBC driver classes are in the class path'.

Cause

This is an Eclipse limitation for class loading.

Solution

Close the connector project and reopen it to add the JDBC driver files again
