Editing sample events
If you created a sample event using the Add Values to Events section of the Integrated Test Client, you can edit the event to change the test values.
You can edit the values of sample events only if they were created in the Add Values to Events section of the Integrated Test Client.
To edit such a sample event after the event has been added to a test script:
Procedure
- In the Create Test Script section, select an event created in the Add Values to Events section and click Edit
. The event content that you previously specified is loaded into the Common Base Event data tables in the Add Values to Events section and the Add Edited Values and Cancel Edit buttons are enabled.
- Change the values of the sample event in the Value column of the Predefined data elements, Property data elements, or Extended data elements sections. For XSD-defined event parts, in the Event part details section, click the event part in the first table to show its corresponding fields in the second table, and enter the values for each field in the Value column of the second table.
- When the changes are complete, click the Add Edited Values button at the bottom of the Add Values to Events section.
Results
The sample event in the test script has been updated.
