Developing an application from WebSphere Business Modeler
You can design a process in WebSphere Business Modeler and import it into IBM BPM or Integration Designer for additional development.
WebSphere Business Modeler and WebSphere Integration Developer offered tools to help users model a process in WebSphere Business Modeler and use WebSphere Integration Developer to refine the model, supplement it, and deploy it to a process server. You can still work in the same way between WebSphere Business Modeler and IBM Integration Designer. However, because the base levels are different, you cannot install those two products in a shell-sharing environment. As well, if you associate an Integration Designer project with a process application, you can no longer synchronize changes with the original model; the flow goes only one way.
You can also create a model in WebSphere Business Modeler and export it for use with IBM BPM.
