Including and excluding calendars

Each business calendar may include or exclude several other similar calendars.

To include or exclude a business calendar, follow these steps:


Procedure

  1. From the business calendar editor, include a calendar by clicking Add Calendar to the Time Intervals list or exclude a calendar by clicking Add Calendar to the Exceptions list.

  2. From the Business Calendar window, select a business calendar from the list to include or exclude. If that you can create a new business calendar from this window if required by clicking New.

  3. Click OK. The business calendar is added to appropriate list in the editor depending on whether you are including or excluding.


What to do next

If that if the inclusion or exclusion of a business calendar does not meet the requirements of the main calendar, an error message will occur in the business calendar editor upon saving. To inspect the existing references to other calendars or to see the references between the main and included or excluded calendars, refer to the References View, as described in the topic Business Integration perspective and views.
