Tuning for large objects
The Java™ heap size and concurrent processing within the JVM are factors to consider when configuring tuning for large objects.
- Heap limitations: Increase the Java heap to its maximum
One of the key factors affecting large object processing is the maximum size of the Java heap.- Reduce or eliminate other processing while processing a large object
One way to allow for larger object sizes is to limit concurrent processing within the JVM. You must not expect to process a steady stream of the largest objects possible concurrently with other IBM BPM and WebSphere adapters activities.- Select business object lazy parsing mode
For large objects, lazy parsing XML data can provide significant performance improvements over eager parsing.
