Configure a stand-alone environment with a DB2 for z/OS database server on Windows
You can configure a stand-alone environment for IBM BPM using a DB2 Universal Database for z/OS database server.
- Create database design files for DB2 for z/OS
Use the database design tool to generate a design file that is used when creating a stand-alone profile. The database design tool also generates database scripts that you can use to create your database tables.- Create or augment stand-alone profiles with a DB2 for z/OS database server
You can create profiles using PMT or manageprofiles.sh. You can augment an existing profile instead of creating a new one if you have an existing WebSphere Application Server V8.0 profile.
- Create DB2 for z/OS databases after stand-alone profile creation
After creating or augmenting profiles, you or your database administrator must create the databases and their tables manually, and you must also run the bootstrapProcessServerData command before you try to start or use the IBM BPM server.
