Changing Process Server use between Production and Non-production

When you install Process Server, you select either Production (the default) for production use, or Non-production to use Process Server only for test, staging, or development.

After the installation is complete, you can change how Process Server is used.


Procedure

  1. Start Installation Manager.

    • Select Start > All Programs > IBM Installation Manager > IBM Installation Manager.
    • Change the directory to the installation directory for Installation Manager (by default, /opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse for an installation by a root user; user_home/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse for an installation by a nonroot user) and run IBMIM.

  2. Select Modify.

  3. Select IBM WebSphere Application Server ND V8.0.

  4. Click Next until you see the Install Features page. Expand the name of the version installed, such as IBM BPM Advanced V8.0.0.0.
  5. Expand Process Server use, select the use that you want, and click Next.

  6. On the Summary page, review your choices, and then click Modify.
