Choose whether to use PMT or commands to create profiles
When creating or augmenting server profiles for Process Center or Process Server, you can choose between using pmt.sh or manageProfiles (zpmt.sh on z/OS).
- If you select PMT or zPMT, the generated instructions include information about using the GUI to create or augment profiles.
- If you select manageProfiles.sh or zpmt.sh, the generated instructions include information about using the command line interface to create or augment profiles.
These options are not available if you choose to perform a typical installation, in which case a profile is created automatically, or if you select to use the configureNode command to create the profiles.
Restriction: PMT is not available for installations on Solaris with SPARC 64-bit. The Interactive Installation and Configuration Guide does not enforce this restriction, so if you are installing on that Solaris with SPARC 64-bit, select the manageProfiles option.
