Choose whether to use configureNode
The configureNode command lets you create and extend profiles and typical network deployment environments in a single command line step, as an alternative to the two-step process of...
- Creating profiles using pmt.sh or manageProfiles.sh
- Configuring the ND environment using the Deployment Environment wizard, the Administrative console, or wsadmin.sh
The configureNode command is not available if:
- you select DB2 for z/OS as your database
- you are installing IBM BPM for z/OS
- you choose to set up a stand-alone environment, for which you do not need to set up a ND environment.
If you select....
Yes, I want to use configureNode.sh
...the generated instructions include information about running configureNode commands.
If you select...
No, I will create profiles and the ND environment separately
...the generated instructions include information about using one of the two options for creating profiles, and about using one of the three options available for creating the ND environment.
