Use remote assets

When working with Process Applications or Toolkits, you might need to provide a link to related information that is available outside of the IBM BPM environment.

For example, you might want to link to a website or a wiki page. You can also reference a change request stored in a change management system or a test case in a quality management system. These kind of links can be used to achieve traceability or provide details about the fixes and features that went into a new asset.

IBM BPM uses the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) standard, which enables linking across products for the purposes of lifecycle management and traceability. For more information about the standard, see OSLC Standard
