Configure runtime environment variables

During development to IBM Process Designer, process authors can set environment variables for each process application. In some cases, the correct value for a particular environment (test or production) might not be known during process design. In those cases, you need to provide the value after installing the process application to the new environment.

Use the Process Admin Console to set snapshot environment variables to the appropriate values for the current server.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Process Admin Console, and then click Deployed Apps to show the list of current snapshots on the server.

  2. Click the snapshot you want to work with.

  3. From the top toolbar, click Environment Vars.

  4. For the variables listed, provide a value or ensure that the value shown is accurate for the current server. If no variables are listed, no variables were established during process development in IBM Process Designer.
